Operate Trains on our Layouts
Only members may operate trains on our large HO and HOn3 layouts.
Attend Prototypical Operating Sessions
During our “Proto Ops” sessions, we operate our layouts like a real railroad, delivering cars to and from on-line customers using operating wayside CTC signals, radio communications, and a train dispatcher.
Develop Modeling Skills
Our layouts are still under construction, and we operate frequently, so there are many opportunities to improve your skill at maintaining locomotives and rolling stock, track, electrical/DCC, scenery, and more.
Learn at Clinics
We present focused clinics on a variety of topics throughout the year, including DCC and sound decoder installation/programming, structure-building, resin casting, realistic operation, and wayside signals.
Meet Other Modelers
Since our founding in 1948, our members have enjoyed the camaraderie that develops from a shared an interest in trains and model railroading.

Application Process
- Complete a Membership Application and pay your first month’s dues.
- Complete a probationary period of 6 months.
- Board of Directors approves or rejects your application.
